Description of the issue:
Brave browser showed available update. Selected option to restart browser and apply updates. When browser opened again, all saved long / passwords were gone. Bookmarks remain.
How can this issue be reproduced?
Not sure. I hope it doesn’t happen every time, but perhaps? Did not restart computer, only applied update and restarted browser, as required.
- view saved passwords in brave
- apply update / restart brave browser
- note that all saved logins / passwords have been deleted
Expected result:
Login / password data should not be deleted
