Shut down my laptop last night, and in the morning today all my passwords,g-mail logins are gone…
I have lost about 30 passwords and it’s a very tedious task to get them all back

Try this, go to C:\Users*Name ofyourmachine*\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data\Default
Copy bookmarks.bak paste it somewhere and change the extension .bak to html, open Brave, go to settings bookmarks and import bookmarks from that file.
My bookmarks are fine, its my website logins, and passwords that are lost.
Anyway which I can get them?

Bookmarks include, in addition to links, cookies, passwords, favorites.
The following image with link show the correct method to recover your bookmarks if corrupt. I successfully tested the method on another machine by deliberately deleting all my links, passwords, cookies.
This procedure is for Google-Chrome right? though I have installed chrome I am not using it since several months

Google Chrome = Brave, almost !
Brave was designed from Chrome.
I would suggest you to use password manager like Keepass or Bitwarden. Way more secure and private.

Have you had any luck with this? Same thing happened to me and it’s been 4 days now. And this involves 391 passwords! Let me know if you have a breakthrough/solution.

Did you reinstall Brave? If the browser unistalled and reinstalled this method wont work.
No, I didn’t do that and it sounds like I needn’t bother. Whatever happened wiped out the same thing in Chrome (including the backup file).
