Advantis AI website is being blocked (SSL issue)

Hi Brave Team,

I’m reaching out on behalf of our team at Advantis AI, regarding an issue that some of our users have been experiencing with Brave.

It has come to our attention that our website, https://outlook.advantis.ai, is being erroneously blocked by Brave (SSL issue) for some users who also have your software installed. Despite thorough checks on VirusTotal, which show no signs of malicious activity, multiple reports from our users confirm that Brave is indeed blocking access to our site.

We kindly request your assistance in investigating this matter further and resolving the issue promptly. If there are any specific details or diagnostics that would be helpful for your investigation, please don’t hesitate to let us know, and we’ll provide them promptly.

The issue can be reproduced by simply going to https://outlook.advantis.ai

Ensuring uninterrupted access to our website for all users is our top priority, and we appreciate your attention to this matter. If you require any additional information or clarification from our end, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Matt Mortier

@MattMortier,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
So on my end I can actually use your site without any issue — tested on both Windows 10 and macOS systems:

Some good information to gather from the users encountering this might be:

  • What OS the users who are encountering the issue are on?
  • Whether or not disabling Brave’s Shields causes the site to work
  • The exact error message shown when trying to visit the site.

Going to cc @fanboynz on this who might know a bit more.

Loaded fine here also. Which SSL cert error are you seeing?

Will circle back when I get more information from the users experiencing this problem. So far, thanks for checking it out and posting your findings!

In the meanwhile I will try and get as many screenshots as I can.
