Briefly describe your issue:
I had a counter in the Brave Rewards section with 46 Ads. Sadly no screenshot of it because after I log in again in which I know I need to do from time to time they got lost. Now my counter is again at zero….

Hello - The ad counter resets if you connect your profile to a custodian for the first time. You are not eligible for earning while your Rewards account is in a non-connected state.
If you submit an issue below we’d be happy to take a closer look. Thanks!
@LxWulf was this on a profile that hadn’t been connected before? Just making sure you’re not referring to one that was already linked and just needed a login.
From what you described, it sounds about right. We can’t earn BAT unless connected to something like Uphold or Solana. Back when vBAT existed, linking would reset earnings to 0, but we’d still get paid for what we had. Now that vBAT is gone, I’m guessing it still resets, but with no vBAT, there’s nothing to pay out for any ads viewed before linking.
That’s just my take based on what you said. Evan123 actually started responding as I was typing this so I stopped to see what he had to say. Seems to align with thoughts. Brave just seems to make sure nothing seen while not connecting does not count as anything earned.
No, it was not connected the first time. I use this since years. Also, I saw the post of @Saoiray a pretty while ago where he informed us that we need to have a custodian account on Uphold or Gemini.
What I recognized is that it has some connection/token errors since some time, which I did not see in the normal use of brave.
I clicked the Brave Reward Icon on it because I was curious how much I do have that month. Then I saw that I’m disconnected (again), so I reconnected as usual.
I was told from brave or uphold, I believe it was brave, they do this to be sure it’s you, me, whose account is connected to uphold. So far, just what I understand.
I attached the Brave Reward Log. I hope it helps to resolve the issue better. Furthermore, I would like to have my tokens back but more important to me is, to learn how this does not happen again.
I will make an additional issue ticket at the link which @Evan123 posted. If we found the solution there I will update my post here for letting know others what happened.
Edit: @Evan123 I send a issue ticket with a link to this post here.
I reset my brave rewards profile as the supporter J said. I will look how it’s going in the future. So far on the new profile it does an ad counter. We will how it does when I need to relogin as security measure.
I will post here or will mention this post here in a new one.
