Aab package on github not downloading

Recently I found out about the new aab file system being used on github, normally for a long time I would use github for updating brave browser on my Android phone. Now nothing will work with these new files system and the bundle package does not work either. I’m hoping to update with the playstore again. I use android 9 is this just going to work for android 10 and up only? Thanks for a great browser also.

You should be able to update via Playstore just fine – is that what you’re asking or am I misunderstanding the issue?

I have been working with github for a long time for releases to update my browser but now I can’t use aab files and bundle packages do not work for me? I would need an apk package for updates not aab. I have updated from the store luckily.
