Zooming in/out using Mouse Scroll + Holding Down Key not working

Description of the issue:
Normally I’d use CMD and + OR CMD and - to zoom in/out.

I am reading online that many are using Mouse Scroll + holding a key (either the CTRL or OPTION key) to zoom in/out rather than press CMD and + or CMD and -.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Holding CTRL and scrolling up and down via mouse on a Brave web browser window.
  2. Nothing happens.

Expected result:
Quickly adjust zoom levels in browser window.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.49.132

Additional Information:
Would like to know why zoom by key + mouse scroll doesn’t work on Brave Browser.
