Yt video not open in app from brave Android

Description of the issue:
If I open any yt video on brave and click on open in app option, it shows error:

" This site can’t be reached

The web page at intent://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lwZJHHQ8ib4&feature=mweb_to_native_app_11268432&itc_campaign=mweb_to_native_app_11268432&redirect_app_store_ios=1&app=desktop#Intent;package=com.google.android.youtube;scheme=vnd.youtube;launchFlags=268435456;end might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

  1. Open any yt video on brave Android
  2. Click on open in app option on upper right corner

Expected result: it should open on yt app

Reproduces how often: every time and ‘allow open link on external app’ option is enabled

I had the exact same issue in Brave on my Android device.

Open Brave > Settings > Media > Turn off “Open Links in Brave”. When you first disable this feature YouTube videos instantly play in the App but after Brave is fully closed they play on the browser but the Open App button starts working again.

Go to settings >media >turn off ‘open yt links in brave’
It will get fixed
