YouTube tabs redirecting to the YouTube app

When I have YouTube opened in a tab, and leave it and then come back to it, it will go out of the brave app and open the same video on my YouTube app. This is very annoying as I want to watch the video on brave and not on the YouTube app. I have to close the YouTube app and go back into brave, delete the tab and then find the same video. Also if you can add a feature to where you can change the video quality settings preset automatically for youtube videos. It always plays it on the highest setting and I want it on the lowest setting (144p) because it uses a lot of my data.
