YouTube displays on desktop as mobile

Description of the issue:

When I go to YouTube on my Linux desktop with Brave, it displays as a mobile app. The videos, all icons, all writing, appear tiny. It used to work fine but stopped working a few weeks ago.

All other sites look fine. YouTube looks fine on Chrome.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. go to YouTube.com

Expected result:

It should look normal.

Brave Version( check About Brave):

Version 1.28.106 Chromium: 92.0.4515.159 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Hey @blake1024

  1. Ensure you’re not in Desktop mode in Brave (in the menus)
  2. and then try clearing the cookies, re-login.

Thanks for the tips. However, I have two questions about item 1.

A. Ensure I am NOT in Desktop mode? Shouldn’t I ensure I am in desktop mode?

B. Can you please give me specific instructions on how to set this. I can’t find it.

Clearing all cookies for all time did not help.

hmm that screenshot isn’t the “mobile” version, seems to be zoomed out. Try Ctrl-+ to zoom in.
