I just downloaded the latest Brave ( Version 1.70.119 Chromium: 129.0.6668.70 (Official Build) (arm64))
and when it starts up it says
Description of the issue:
"“You are using an unsupported command-line flag: --enable-unsafe-webgpu. Stability and security will suffer.”
And some websites that seem to be 3D-related don’t work with Brave (even with Shields down) the way they do with Chrome. (For example, any STL viewer files on thingyverse.com.)
I’m not aware that I’ve set any such command-line flag. I’m not using the command line. How can I disable this in order to get better/stabler behavior?
I also searched in Brave’s Settings and “webgpu” produced no results.
How can this issue be reproduced?
1.Download the latest Brave for Mac.
2. Install it
3. Click the big Brave icon
Expected result:
No message about bad command line flags. Websites work like on Chrome instead of just saying “Something went wrong.”
