Yahoo started inserting an ad thinly disguised as an email in Yahoo Mail today.
Should help, give it 24-48hrs. Aggressive mode may also be needed.

In the url bar, copy brave://adblock into the urlbar, and press enter.
Then enter mail.yahoo.com##li[role="list-item"][style="top: 0px; padding: 0px 16px;"] in to the custom filters at the bottom.
Thank you! That seems to have done it…sorta. The ad will appear very briefly (maybe half a second), then disappear. I sent myself an email from another email and it came through so, so far, it doesn’t seem to have caused any issues.
Browse the address book etc, and any features. See if causing any issues. The brief flash was expected
