Why Multiple Sessions of Brave Running when 1 tap is open?

I open Brave browser (1 tab) with all extensions OFF, but 13 processes start running and everything get really slow.

What are those processes, are they really needed and if not, how to “kill” them without shutting down the browser?

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. 1 tap is open
  2. All extensions are OFF
  3. 13 sessions is running

Expected result:

  • Whole computer slow down dramatically

Brave Version( check About Brave):

  • Version 0.70.121 Chromium: 78.0.3904.70 (Official Build) (32-bit)

Additional Information:

I think the number is “normal”. Brave use multiple processes. One for main process, other for tab/s, extension/s, etc.

You may want to update your Brave. It’s a bit outdated. brave.com/latest
