Description of the issue:
Start browser on a blank page and wait. Very soon, see in a network activity log that the browser is issuing UPnP discovery requests. Specifically:
UDP requests to port 1900 and IP address 239.255.255.250
Why???
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
start browser and wait a minute. No need to look at websites. Then look at the connections log from the Windows Firewall Control program by MalwareBytes.
