I was just curious on why we don’t see Brave on any pages which show browser market share, such as netmarketshare, w3counter, etc. Is the market share currently just too low to register or are the Brave stats showing up under Chrome since it uses Chromium?

@joshi it’s because they don’t know if you’re using Brave.
Brave, for now, use Chrome user-agent (desktop and Android) and Firefox user-agent (iOS), to “hide” it’s users.
So every site that you visit will think that you’re using Chrome/Firefox and not Brave.

Will that change in the future? I mean that’d be a nice ad for Brave to show some stats you know

In the future, it may change and use Brave’s own UA.
Some stats if you curious https://brave.com/brave-reaches-8-million-monthly-active-users-and-delivers-nearly-400-privacy-preserving-ad-campaigns/

Thanks! I’m addicted to all kinds of statistics and charts. Such a nice community Brave has.
