You can also try changing your ad blocker setting to Aggresive @yenneh . Either per site or globally. It should block 1st party ads too. https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/categories/360001053072-Shields

@yenneh Can you retest in private window mode, with no extensions enabled. Does the ads show still?

The ads in your second picture are not third-party ads/links, so Brave does not block them. They are images/links belonging to the same website.

hmmm so basically theres no way to block the ads?

Using Aggressive mode in Shields on Google will fix it here

The 2 issues are separate. Google can be fixed via Aggressive mode. (see https://secure.fanboy.co.nz/gif/google-adobe.gif ) Enabling Aggressive mode globally via brave://settings/shields will also help.

Smallseotools is just adblock countering. Which have pushed out a fix

@fanboynz could you please also block the cookie/ad notice showing up in https://www.wordreference.com/definition/test?
I have also noticed that other websites use an identical notice.

Sure, updated. Use Easylist Cookie via brave://adblock. Update in the next 24-48hrs.

@fanboynz thank you! Is there a webpage where I can make these kinds of requests, especially regarding cookie notices?
