When I download something from a web page i first have to save it and then open it

Description of the issue:

When I’m at a website and I want to download something, the “Save” window opens first. I have to hit save and then it downloads. Then I have to hit the download for it to open. How do I skip the inbetween “saving?”

Expected result: Go right to download or open in window.

Go to brave://settings/downloads and untick “Ask where to save each file before downloading” :slight_smile:
