When closing the window with only one tab open, I get a pop-up that says "You have two tabs open in this browser window"

AS the title says, every time that I try to close the browser when only one tab is open I get this message. What causes this and what is the fix>

I’m running Brave v1.49.132 in Windows on a Dell laptop.
