When I want close the browser, even if only ONE tab is opened (the empty one) I get a popup saying that TWO tabs are opened and asking me to confirm. I understand that I can remove this confirmation request but my question is “why am I notified of 2 tabs as only one is opened?”
Thank you

Hi
Try checking what’s open in Brave as follows
1 Right-click on brave icon at bottom right (taskbar)
2. Click on Task Manager
3. Check open tabs. Send screenshot if possible.
A bit of a puzzle. I was going to suggest to @jsmo , go to: brave://profile-internals/
. . . and look at User Accepted Account Management
Instead, I noticed the Signin State
status is: Not signed in
. . . for every Brave Browser Profile on my Mac.
UPDATE: At a glance, I figured, it I am signed in at Brave Community . . . but that Signin State
status probably is in regard to some other Sign In.
Hello, no “Task manager” in this…
New Window
New private windows
Profile 1-Brave
Pin to taskbar
Close window
User Accepted Account Management : false
Signin State Not signed in
