What information is sent to Brave when providing feedback on the search results page?

When I click the “Feedback” button on the search results page, are my search query and the search results sent to Brave as part of the feedback?
If yes, this might create a (very) small privacy issue in some cases (depending on the search).
If no, how can the feedback be useful if it’s just comments without a relevant search query?
Thank you for answering!

@Cyberman,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
No information other than what is filled out on the Feedback form when you submit it is sent. I’ve reached out to our Search team anyway just to confirm.

Typically, feedback might include things like your user ID and some anonymized data about your browsing or search behavior. They try to limit the data sent to what’s necessary to improve the browser and your experience with it.

For those who want to integrate or manage feedback more efficiently, there are tools out there that can help. For example, if you’re using a platform like monday.com partner for project management, you can find more about integrating it with various services here. This can streamline your workflow and keep track of feedback and other project details effectively.
