Website Metadata & favicon not current

Brave v 1.62.162

Linux Ubuntu 21.04 whatever, it’s the latest version.

Hello everyone, I hope you’re all well.

I have a question about the metadata etc shown on a brave search, and particularly my website. Where is it coming from?

What is shown is probably 3 or 4 months old. It’s more or less ok on guugle and pretty much everyone else, so what’s the deal?

People visiting your website

If you think anything is outdated or incorrect, you can always provide feedback while on the Search. You’ll see the image icon on the upper right. Click it and then on the Share Feedback button.

You would fill out the little thing that appears, such as below:

And that gets sent directly to the Search team and they can make modifications. No promises on how long before they’d see it and do anything, but that’s the steps as has been instructed by them.
