VPN plan - Desktop

On June 21, 2024, I subscribed to the Brave VPN Desktop plan with a 7-day trial period. Today, June 28, 2024, 7 days later, I have cancelled the plan, as I do not wish to continue. But, I have a message: “Your subscription has been cancelled. Access until Jul 21, 2024.”.
What should I do to avoid being billed, as I don’t want to continue with the plan? I can’t find any way to contact someone at Brave for this. Support says to go to this forum.
