Very famous site not work in Brave, but in Chrome work :(

Description of the issue:
This is very usefull site to recognize voice and convert to text: https://speechnotes.co/
But microphone one this site not work.
Work well on chrome.
I check on 3 other computers with brave and chrome

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. In Brave open https://speechnotes.co/
  2. Click circle with microphone
  3. Turn on microphone
  4. Say some text

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

Expected result:
Text shoud appear

Reproduces how often:
always

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Windows 10 and Brave Version 0.70.123 Chromium: 78.0.3904.97 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Is this also why Hangouts doesn’t work in Brave?

I noticed on Github this was identified almost 6 months ago. I can’t use Brave as my browser until Hangouts works… is there an ETA for a fix @fanboynz?

this website has anomalies
sheilds up or down has problem with login
once logged in it is usable enough
