Using split tab function causes the browser to slowdown

Description of the issue:
Using split-view would cause a slowdown that is noticeable and sometimes pretty annoying.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Right-Click a tab and click “new split-view”
  2. I went to youtube.com or some other website.
  3. On the other tab view, I would go to the URL bar and type. This would be a noticeably laggy.

Expected result:
Browser response is slower.

Additional Information:
I’m running Windows 11 Pro, if this changes anything.
