So I tried using Duck Duck Go for the past few weeks but it is really hard to adjust to it after using google for so long. duck duck go go brings up a lot of irrelevant searches.
My question is, If I use Brave and have google as my preferred search, how does that work with preventing google from tracking you? How does the Brave platform with is privacy minded work in conjunction with google search that has clear privacy issues?
websites use whatever apis and tools that the browsers expose to them. So, brave blocks certain tracking mechanisms and scripts that websites could utilize in order to fingerprint you. This is just a high level answer. A dev that is knowledgable about the inner workings of brave could probably elaborate more.
