URL bar text de-selects when it shouldn't

Description of the issue:
When tapping the URL bar to select the URL for copying, the second tap de-selects the text when it should bring up the iOS text selection popup. This results in multiple more taps than necessary, and probably violates iOS UX best practices.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):

1. View a web page
2. Tap the URL bar and notice the URL is selected (as it should be)
3. Tap the selected text to bring up the text selection menu/popup
4. Notice the selection drops instead.

Expected result:
Text selection popup for “select all”/“copy”/“paste” should appear.

You can just and hold on the URL bar to copy or paste or paste/go on the URL bar (see image below), no need to go into edit mode. Do you feel this is usable enough? Thanks for raising this.

oh cool. nice feature/workaround… I’ll use that; thanks! I’d be inclined to leave this issue open though as it breaks with expected expectations around text selection behaviors in iOS.
