Upload window keeps freezing/blanking when uploading photos

Description of the issue:
When uploading photos to social media sites (MeWe, Gab), the upload window keeps freezing and even blanking.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Select the photo icon on a social media website (MeWe or Gab)
  2. Upload window will open, but missing command buttons and sometimes content
  3. Try to close or exit out of window
  4. Window freezes
  5. Error message appears saying that window is loading or can’t load
  6. Must follow directions to report to Microsoft or press Cancel to get window to close.

Expected result:
Upload window should open normally with content and command buttons, and allow normal interaction–but instead, I’m trying two and three times to upload images.

Version 1.22.71 Chromium: 89.0.4389.114 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
This is a recent development…within the last week.
