Updating brave on linux

Hi there, I hope I am writing this according to the standards of the forum.

Description of the issue:

I cannot seem to find a way of updating my Brave browser.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
I tried to update in the terminal.
Also I also looked up in Github but couldnt find anything.

I also tried to find an update on Brave browser in “about Brave”. Although I couldn’t see

I downloaded the latest version but it gives me the message “Brave is already installed”

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
I am running Ubuntu 19.10

I am running Brave Version 1.3.118

Additional Information:

I love this browser

How did you install it? Was it a snap package or did you download the .deb file? IS it in the Ubuntu repo? Is it a flatpak?
