unable to link my Brave browser rewards (BAT) to my Gemini account

I have been unable to link my Brave browser rewards (BAT) to my Gemini account. Whenever I try to verify my wallet, the following error message is displayed: “…Sorry there was a problem processing your request, please try again…”

Tried so many times but still same error is appearing every!

@Tassz44 please answer some of the questions below:

  • Which OS are you using? (Such as Windows 11, Android 12, etc)

  • Which version of Brave are you using? (Don’t just say “the latest.” Provide actual version number.)

  • Are you using a VPN?

  • Have you tried restarting your device?

  • Are you from the United States?

  • Can you go to Brave Rewards in your settings and choose Reset? Can you then connect?

same issue, had the spinning circle of death. foolishly disconnected. tried reconnecting and received this error. reset my brave rewards (again foolishly as it didnt solve anything)

In response the this issue I was informed: “this issue you mention is related to a security measure called Liveness Check. This check is designed to ensure that the person attempting to access the wallet is indeed the rightful owner, and not an impersonator or a robot.
Since it’s a necessitated process, Brave requires this for linking…”
