Unable to download or upload files on Mac (works and then stops after a day or two)

Exact same issue as this:

Still happening in Jan 2023.

Only solution is to completely close out of Brave, restart computer and then it works again for a few days.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, someone help fix this.
