The issue that I’m having is that I can only delete one item in my history at a time when searching for specific results.
When I go to brave://history/ I can search for my history (I’m specifically trying to delete anything resulting from the “instagram” search term), but when I select all results and click on the three dots and select “Remove from history” it only removes 1 item at a time (the one corresponding to the three dots next to it).
I figured that either this must be a bug or I’m doing something wrong. I’d normally assume I’m doing something wrong, but I don’t see any other option for deleting select items in the history.
Can you try clearing your cache/browsing data? I would start with just clearing data for DDG by visiting the site and using the lock icon in the address bar (Lock icon --> Site settings --> Clear data)? If it is still slow, try clearing all cache/browser data.
I followed your instructions but I think it only cleared all of the site data, but instagram still shows up in my history. Is there a way to bulk delete selected history?
In the options you have advanced options, you can add stories such as Password or Browser History, try it if you still do not solve it please attach an image Deleting some type of content that you do not want the Public to see, such as personal data and names you can do it from paint and then host it here, if you can show me the Delete Cookies or Files panel it can also be of help in (Lock icon → Site settings) Explore or search all the options and you may get the option you need since your case It is special at this time, it may be a temporary error but surely at another time it will not happen again, and if it happens you can perform the same action.
