Unable to connect US Gemini account to Creators

I have a US based Gemini account that is successfully linked to my Brave Rewards account. I have logged in and confirmed that it shows my address as the US and also it’s fully enabled. I’ve created a Creators account, however when trying to link to Gemini I get the following:

Your Gemini account can’t be connected to your Brave Creators profile at this time. Your Gemini account is registered in a country that’s not currently supported for connecting to Brave Creators.

I’m using the most current version of Brave 1.44.112

Have you done verification using a document of another country than the US?

Nope, verified only as my US address (haven’t lived anywhere else) and my bank account information attached to Gemini is also a US based bank account.

Can you go to Gemini and see if they need more verification documents or something
