Tipping blocked by Brave Rewards Banner

I want to be able to tip content creators.
When I go to do so, the area where I normally select “send tip” is blocked by an advertisement for Brave Rewards (message at bottom).
I do not want to join Brave Rewards. I chose Brave to not see ads, and I am glad to pay content creators and platform hosts directly. Now it appears Brave wants to ‘pivot’ toward monetizing my attention. This is not acceptable. Please provide a browsing experience free of ads with a compensation model for creators.

Additional Information:

Well, in order for you to be able to tip creators is by enabling Brave Rewards since tipping feature is a part of Brave Rewards.

Just enable it and disable Brave Ads from brave:rewards

Interesting. I did not know participation in “Rewards” was a prerequisite for tipping / compensating content creators. It was originally marketed as a program to compensate users for watching ads. I “enabled rewards” and was able to send a tip. Thank you for your prompt help.
