Description of the issue:
The issue is that the open tabs on brave gets wiped Randomly with no explanation, I have seen this question get posted over and over on the community with no resolution to the root cause but I think I have accidentally found the main issue, it happens when you open a link from a different app I tried it with a couple but it works on some apps but not all.
However, doing the steps to produce the issue one time in fact erases all open tabs and opens one single tab which have been opened from the third party app, the weird thing is: when you close brave and try to click the link again it will get back all the tabs that was erased before as if there are 2 different profiles on brave
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Opening a link from an app specifically I tried with opening a link from YouTube: YouTube profile>upgrade to premium> the link that shows the restrictions to any bundle
- Tried it by mistake also with another link from a game “zombie catchers” there is the link of the Facebook page of the game which reproduced the same bug
Expected result:
Resolve the issue since It’s not normal to face this annoying bug on a daily basis
