Stumped. Why ads on YouTube?

I just received my new I pad. (Apple) Installed Brave first. I keep getting comical & adds. Something I’m missing? All my other devises are Samsung. Works just fine

Could you try turning off Shields and then try turning it back on ?

Try clearing the cookies and cache, then refresh the youtube page.

Its not just them, I am also getting adds on YT, started at 11pmish EST Dec3
