Description of the issue:
Since the last Beta update websites randomly send an issue “STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION”

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open a website
  2. Website load (we can see few elements)
  3. When the page is loaded, return an error STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION

Expected result:
Website load and display normaly, without issue.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.39.76 Chromium: 101.0.4951.41 (Build officiel) beta (64 bits)

Additional Information:
All work normaly before the update and the issue appear imediatly after.

Try this first. Create a new profile, give it the name ‘TEST’ then open websites.
If the problem persists, disable extensions one by one an try to find the problematic one.
Delete the ‘TEST’ profile.

Ok thanks for your help @CerealLover, I found that the Phantom extension is the problem (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/phantom/bfnaelmomeimhlpmgjnjophhpkkoljpa) since the last Beta update

Same here, I had to delete the Phantom extension
