[SOLVED] {NSFW} Unblockable pop-up ads on jav.guru

Description of the issue:
Load a video on the website and select “Stream ST” or any of the other streaming server options.

Once the video is ready to load, and you click the play button, pop-up ads will appear. This will happen at least 2-3 times every time you click the play button.

After the 3rd time. The video will now be able to play properly.

This only affects Brave Browser for Android based on testing.

Brave Shield Settings:

  • Trackers & ads blocking = Aggressive

  • Enabled Custom Ad Block List (Didn’t solve the issue)
    A. Fanboy Annoyances List
    B. Easylist-Cookie List - Filter Obtrusive Cookie Notices
    C. uBlock Annoyances List (used with Fanboy Annoyances List)

  • Flag Enabled (Didn’t solve the issue)
    A. brave://flags/#brave-adblock-cosmetic-filtering

Adding this on Custom Filters solve the issue.

Additional Notes: The solution is working on the following conditions:

  • Trackers & ads blocking
    Aggressive

  • Enabled Custom Ad Block List
    Fanboy Annoyances List only

  • Flag Enabled
    None
