Description of the issue:
I transferred some Solana based NFTs to a brave wallet account but am not able to see the items in the NFT list after about 3 hours. On solana chain scan softwares I’m able to see the transaction/transfer was completed successfully.
Are you using the (new) Brave Wallet or the (old) Crypto wallets implementation?

As far as I know, solana nft is supported by brave wallet.
But, in the current setup of brave wallet, assets need to be manually added inside the wallet.
Go to bottom of brave://wallet/crypto/portfolio, click on ’ + Visible Assests’ and then click on ‘Add Custom Assest’ and input your NFT data into NFT tab.
Also, make sure you select the Solana Network and not any other chain.

ah i see. thank you for this info. I thought the NFTs would just show up but there’s a manual add step here. This worked!
But a question I have is, wouldn’t you be able to make any nft show up in your wallet then if you have this information? or does brave wallet also check for ownership before allowing you to interact with the nft
They are working on Auto-discovery of assests which will probably land in few weeks/months.
I do not know the exact answer to your valid question. I think after inputing the NFT data it will only surface NFT’s (ERC 721) which are present in your wallet at that time. You cannot just randomly get new NFT’s out of thin air in your wallet like your question.
You can try it out yourself just for fun. See if Bored Ape Yacht NFT are visible after inputing their data.
Where do I find the NFT data? Token name, address, symbol, or id.
