Currently the sidebar pages open in the current tab. I have to remember to open a new tab before clicking on it. It would make my workflow faster/smoother if it (1) automatically chose a new tab or (2) right click made me choose same tab/new tab/new window.

Middle-clicking will work fine for this purpose, also.
