Setting Private or Private with TOR as default tab types

I cannot figure out how to setup preferences to have Private or Private with TOR be my default new window/tab option. Can anyone comment on whether this is doable and if it is on how to do it?

you can use flag when you start your brave

check this

use the flag --incognito for private mode

for tor there some way for that but looks like it work for windows check this

I am hoping someone knows of a way to set the preferences in the Mac version to initially open Private or Priavte with TOR tabs/windows.

for brave with private mode for mac use this command on the terminal

open -a "Brave Browser.app" -n --args --incognito

and let me ask @Mattches from the team to help you one how to start brave ni tor mode

If you want the browser to launch in Private, @justsomeone1’s answer is correct. As for the TOR option, while there is an open issue to add it, it hasn’t had a lot of attention lately as it is lower on the list of priorities. As such, I’ve added your report to the thread and requested we get an update on the status of the issue:
