"Send to devices" feature

Description of the issue: I tried the “send to my devices” share feature on my smartphone, after having it synchronized with my desktop running Brave and it doesn’t work. The app keeps telling me to enable synchronization across my devices, but i already have it enabled. I am on the latest version of Brave, both on my smartphone and my desktop. I’m really interested in this feature.

How can this issue be reproduced?

Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.19.86 Chromium 88.0.4324.96

I’ve managed to make it work by synchronizing everything (passwords, open tabs, bookmarks, etc) instead of single elements and by enabling account synchronization in the settings of android. Now it works. I can’t help but asking if all of this synchronizations are really necessary. (Sending seems to work only mobile to desktop and not the other way).
