Security risks of importing existing wallet?

I have a metamask account that’s connected to my hardware wallet. Are there any potential security risks from importing this metamask account? Will the hardware wallet be automatically imported as well?

We aren’t currently automatically importing the hardware wallets so you’d have to do that separately. There are no security risks to import from MetaMask automatically.
