Search.brave.com Invalid_Cert_Auth on Android

I just installed Brave on Android. Search.brave.com returns ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID. So far this has not occurred with any of the other sites I’ve visited. I’d like to set search.brave.com as the home page, but that’s not gonna work.

I don’t think there is anything I can do on my end to resolve this. Is there? Any suggestions?

Could you try the same in a private window ?

It does the same in a private window. Only on my android phone though. Not on my iMac desktop.

FWIW, it does the same thing in the built in Android Chrome Browser. And it does it on my wireless network through my ISP as well as over broadband cellular internet.

I guess its a problem with the installed certificates.
