Screen flickering on YouTube

Description of the issue:
when i’m watching videos on YouTube, the monitor screen flickers a lot. i don’t experience this issue on other browsers, i only experience this flickering when i’m using brave.

i don’t really know if this is asking if the issue occurred on this site or if the website i’m reporting functioned like normal by turning off shields, but i’ll respond to both;

yes, youtube was still flickering with shields turned off

no, it still flickers

oh sorry about the part asking “did this issue occur with default shield settings” btw, i was confused by the template because it gave me a link to the help article, so i got a lil confused about that

It flickers for me too and just did a minute ago.

I’m also experiencing this issue. My GPU is an RX 6600. I’ve tried disabling hardware acceleration, but the problem persists. It also lags whenever I switch to fullscreen mode.

This does not happen in other browsers, I’ve also used Edge.
