Saving media bug, converts files to unwanted format. Need a raw save

Description of the issue:
Brave won’t save media in its original format. It converts is every time to wbem.

I have to install 3rd party add-ons in order to save.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. drag and drop a jpg or gif out of Brave, and it’s converted.
  2. righ-click, and select save-as, and it’s saved and converted.
  3. install an add-on like download Them All, and it will let you save the media in it’s original form.

Expected result:
Save media files in their original format without conversion, just as other web browsers can.

Additional Information:
It’s frustrating to have to load another web browser to save media. This needs to be fixed!
