Can’t believe Brave removed the ability to back up your account without signing up for Uphold. I’m getting a new laptop and went to back up my account in preparation to transfer it to the new machine, but Brave now says I must sign up for Uphold in order to keep what I’ve earned. I previously backed-up my account and still have the file, so I know they allowed it before. Since Uphold refuses to verify my identity, it looks like I’m going to lose all the tokens I’ve earned since using Brave. Hopefully you’ll return the functionality of backing-up our accounts soon, because I won’t be waiting around long. This just seems like a basic ability a user should have, especially when dealing with finance.
