When will we be able to transfer our BAT tokens from Brave Browser to Ledger Nano S or Trezor

Withdrawal support for brave://rewards wallet on desktop is coming @XRPBAT1027.

Once it’s implemented, you need to do KYC with Brave’s partner, Uphold. Then you can transfer your BAT from Uphold wallet to your external wallet.

Do I need to do a manual update on the Brave browser or will it automatically update itself when the changes are made?

The browser will manually update but it wont upgrade through channels (if that makes sense).
So if you’re using Brave Release build (v0.68.132 at the time of writing this), you’ll get the update (automatically) as it moves through the release pipeline.
