Random freezing while browsing

Hello! Since the new update, I get some nasty freezing on my desktop. The light version is just freezing for 2-3 secs and then a message pop-up, saying that the video driver has stopped working and have recovered, then I can continue like nothing have happened. The heavy version is freezing for 2-3 secs and then the monitor turns off, while the computer is running. After that I must restart the pc… So far I experienced this while browsing, and probably in incognito mode more often, but that may be just me thinking about that. Anyway I dont got this freeze while working in other programs.

Brave Version - 1.32.113

Additional Information:
My GPU is old like pc itself, but here is the specs:
Win 7 Ultimate 32-bit
Intel Pentium Dual Core E5700 3 GHz
nVidia GeForce 610GT 1GB
2GB RAM
and my network speed is 100 MBs

Do other browser like chrome also freeze the same way brave has started freezing.

Go to settings>system> and turn hardware acceleration off. It might solve the problem.

I will try, but I havent tested it on chrome, because I use only Brave as its the faster of all browsers I have tried :slight_smile:
As far I know this bug happens every 2-3 days. At first I though that is just random, but later keeps happening more often, thats why I have to post if its the browser or my ps…

Can you try disabling Hardware Acceleration in settings to see if this resolves the issue?

You’ll find this in Settings --> Additional Settings --> System --> Hardware Acceleration

Sorry for the late responce. I can confirm that after disabling hardware acceleration there were no freezing bugs or crashes of video driver :slight_smile:
