Promoted Twitter ad on PWA

Description of the issue: Promoted twitter ad on PWA. It’s rare case and barely happen when I refreshed the page. But as far I noticed, the ads appear when first time I open Twitter.

Exact URL of the website in question: PWA twitter.com / mobile.twitter.com

Did the issue present with default Shields settings? yes

Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off? yes

Is there a specific Shields configuration that causes the site to break? If so, tell us that configuration. no

Does the site work as expected when using Chrome? Yes

Brave version (check About Brave): 1.27.109 Chromium: 92.0.4515.115 (Official Build) (64-bit) Both desktop and mobile are same version

Android, tested on Android 10 and 11

Try installing Brave Nightly (via the playstore), via the settings enable Ads/Trackers = Aggressive. Then open Twitter, see if that helps. @envyy

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I’ve been testing Nightly version for a couple days and I don’t get any promotional ads there

Try in Brave release, Ads/Trackers = Aggressive in the Brave settings page.
