Preventing data loss on a website

Add the option to disable the “pull” gesture to refresh the page and prevent us from accidentally losing data on a website… Who has never refreshed the page by accident!!?

Setting is still missing from Brave Browser (Android):

I’ve basically had to stop commenting online since switching to Brave because 9/10 times the page refreshes b4 I finish typing.

What’s the BFD?
I’m sure lots of users probly don’t care when they have to re-enter their non sequitur emoji and six exclamation marks. But users who believe things worth saying usually take a couple of sentences, and a couple minutes, to say well…THESE USERS CARE!!!:green_salad::bicycle:

No one cares about your comments, so why do you?
For me that’s the point. I’ve never used (reciprocal) social media precisely bc I don’t care what strangers think. [Also bc I’m over 40] However, I find one-sided engagement reënforces retention of nuanced concepts and also lets me voice my thoughts w/o pestering the author, my boyfriend, or my dog. My theory is the comments section creates a permission structure for self-expression; it’s kind of like journaling, but for men (JK, sort of).
Case in point: I just wrote a meandering disquisition on my feelings about the most picayune Android issue imaginable—something Brave could’ve fixed ages ago if they wanted to—and on the most obscure forum this side of the Tintin/Milou slashfic subreddit. Will anyone read this? I’ll never know, cause now that I said my piece, I’m over it and ready to switch to Opera, get a laptop, or even read a fucking book! [Maybe not :100: over it.]
