I’d like to suggest offering a version of Brave for the “PortableApps” platform. This would allow taking all of your Brave data with you on a flash drive and being able to launch the browser directly from your PortableApps installation on your flash drive. Many other browsers already offer this availability and it would be great for people who are constantly using different computers and wish to use the Brave browser with all of their data (bookmarks, history, passwords, etc.) on a computer which is not their own.
Same wish here.
(PortableApps is wished since at least 5 years.)
Please guys, this would be awesome!
I have been having strife with downloading malicious files and viruses for ages now, and being able to control exactly what permissions Brave is given on my computer would make a world of difference for me!
And I agree with Duffman about how awesome it would be to put brave on a laptop from a USB drive, then uninstall it and put it on another computer. This would be epic!
I do understand that there are some difficulties in making a browser completely self contained, but there is already a modified version of Brave that already does this.
All I am asking for is an official version of a browser that already exists, is it too difficult? Seriously… Is this actually possible? And if so can I have one, please?
